In this module of Kidney School, we'll tell you about some alternative treatments that are not part of regular medicine in the U.S. First, we'll talk about what alternative treatments do, what they have in common, and how you can decide if you want to think about one or more of them.

Then, we'll give you a quick intro to 21 alternative treatments so you can learn:

• Whether they are safe for people with kidney disease
• How to find out more about them
